雨下得更大了，距离展览馆还有一段距离，在雨中走着，觉得这雨也下得真大，可是，画展的魅力还是很大，坚持走到展览馆，于是，加快了步伐，走得也更快了，雨打在衣服上，也顾不上了。
终于走到了展览馆，展览馆修得很气派，三层楼的高度，外观好像一个展翅的雄鹰，喻示着展览馆的明天，就好像大鹏展翅一样，飞向更高更远的天空，寻找更理想的未来。
从展览馆的一楼到三楼，都设置了不同的画展，风格也各不相同，在展览馆的东面的展示走廊里，在着东西方绘画艺术简史的中英文介绍，思云心想：“雨下得这么大，一时半会也不会停，就好好看一下绘画简史，也可以增加见识。”
这样想着，就认真地看着这些简介，在一幅简介上说：“西方艺术风格变化大，而中国艺术风格变化小。人们的生活方式和信仰影响了艺术。中国和欧洲不同，生活方式在长时间里相似。西方艺术丰富多彩，从中世纪到现代，也经历了不少的变化。”
“Western art style changes greatly， while Chinese art style changes little. Art is influenced by customs and faith. Unlike Europe， the way of life in China has been similar for a long time. Art of Western is rich and colorful， and it has undergo many changes from the Middle Age to Modern times.”
接着就是介绍从中世纪到现代的西方绘画简史，在介绍里：“中世纪从公元5世纪到15世纪，画家的主要任务是表现宗教主题。艺术家们并没有把兴趣放在呈现人和自然的真实面貌上，而是着力体现对未知的理解，因此，这段时期的绘画充满了宗教风。到了13 世纪，情况发生了变化，像乔托这样的画家就以比较现实的风格来描绘宗教场景了。”
“The middle Ages is from 5th to the 15th century AD. During the Middle Age ， the main aim of painters was to represent religions themes. A conventional artist of this period was not interested in showing nature and people as they really were. A typical picture at this time was full of religions symbols， which it reflects the understanding of the unknown ，so the painting of this time is full of the religions style.But it was evident that ideas were changing in the 13th century when painter like Giotto began to paint religious scenes in a more realistic way .”
